The film tells the life story of Turkish musician Kazım Koyuncu, a pioneer of Black Sea rock who blended traditional sounds with modern rock and gave a voice to the Laz language and culture. Deeply connected to his homeland, he also raised awareness of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster for Turkey’s Black Sea region and the concerns surrounding its potential health effects. A moving story about music, home and responsibility.
